Our stunning and unique root dining table has been manufactured from reclaimed teak root making this a very solid and strong centre piece to any dining area! Each root is very unique and you will never see the same root detailing twice, the sculptured root base is sourced from the National Indonesian Eco Programme. Excavating the roots encourages regrowth of forests and promotes sustainable livelihoods for local people. When creating these wonderful masterpieces there is no waste as any smaller pieces of teak root are sculpted into amazing individual mirror designs, stunning bowls or even root balls that can be used for various things.

Our 1.2m teak root is definately one to please as they can fit into a smaller dining area and can seat 4 people comfortably our Donna armchairs are chunky and can cope with the rigors of busy every day life, the curved edges gives the Donna armchairs an elegant flow against the sharp lines of the teak root table, this fabulous set really will impress your guests everytime they visit for years to come.

The glass we use is toughened safety glass that is 10mm thick with bevelled edges, which makes this glass top extremely heavy. It simply rests on top of the root and is supported very safely by the structure of the root base underneath. If required, we can provide small rubber dots or suckers to place between the glass and the root to add some extra friction and peace of mind, but most people find these are not necessary and that they detract from the natural look of the table. We swear by our professional glass cleaner that we use to make our glass sparkling clean. It also acts as a santiser and can be used on all kitchen surfaces to cut through grease, whilst eradicating germs. Simply spray sparingly onto glass and use the specialist glass cloth (included in this kit) to buff to perfection. A little goes a long way and you'll be amazed by how long this 1L trigger spray will last.

Our teak roots can be used indoors or outdoors, if kept outdoors the teak root will weather to a silvery/grey colour if left untreated which will not affect the structural integrity of the teak root. To keep your table in top condition, use our Briwax natural beeswax. With a clear finish, it can be applied to any surface quickly and easily to clean, polish and protect your wooden furniture against stains and scratches.
